What is the best transportation to get from Hollywood Studios to Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary for an 8:00 PM and how long does it take and can you get from Contemporary back to Disney Movie Resort or do you have to go back to Magic Kingdo

    Hi Lorraine,

The best transportation from Hollywood Studios to the Contemporary Resort would be to take the DIsney bus that runs from the park to the resort. There are a number of bus stops outside the park, so be sure to look for the correct stop that corresponds with the Contemporary Resort. This option is easy and of course free to Disney guests, however may take up to an hour. The buses run approximately every fifteen to twenty minutes and the ride to the resort could take up to thirty minutes depending on additional stops and traffic. If you are in a hurry, the fastest option would be to take a cab from the front of Hollywood Studios to the Contemporary. You will find the cab stand at the front of the parking lot.

When headed back to the All Star Movie resort, you can either walk to the Magic Kingdom, or take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom and grab a Disney bus to your resort. If you linger to long at the Contemporary, and the Magic Kingdom buses have stopped running, another option is to take a bus from the Contemporary to Downtown Disney and transfer to the All Star bus. This will take a great deal longer but what better excuse for some shopping.

    Hope you have  great time!
