Hi Laurie!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The Parks and Resorts are MADE for the littles, and I promise, you will delight seeing the Magic through your child’s eyes.
First tip - If you can, stay at a
Monorail Resort. Fantasyland in
Magic Kingdom Park is ideal for toddlers, and staying close to the enchantment will make the trip magical! When my babies were little (just a few years ago I had three under three!), our favorite Resort was
Disney’s Contemporary Resort. There is a walkway straight from the hotel to Magic Kingdom Park. It takes all the work out of transportation, and you can quickly get back to the Resort for nap time.
Second tip - Surprisingly, most of the
rides do not have height restrictions. The boat attractions were our toddlers' favorite rides, and you can easily contain the littles on your lap. Peter Pan's Flight is a must!
Third tip - Make use of the
Baby Care Centers. They are the best place for you and your little one to recharge and do all the essential things. There is a changing area, a fun little rest area with your favorite Disney movies (it’s a great place to have a snack and hydrate), and a store that sells baby essentials. They also have the cutest pint-sized toilets, which were so helpful as we were toilet-training around that age.
Laurie, thanks for stopping by, and don’t hesitate to come back with any additional questions. Wishing you a magical vacation!
