What is the best times of year to visit Disney World. We would like to go at a time when the crowds are light. We are thinking about the first week in May 2009. Is that a time of year when the crowds are small????? Thank you

    Robin,

The first week of May enjoys some very moderate sized crowds. At that time you get that great blend of being able to spend less time in line, but still get that buzz of activity that makes the park really memorable.

There are only two months of the year that I recommend more than May. That would be September and then October. The crowds are typically just a bit lighter, and the weather seems more reliably summery but cool. September's rainfall can be a bit higher, however.
