What is the best time of year to travel to Walt Disney World in Florida? I'm looking for a time that is off-peak (not as crowded).

Hi, Karen!  There are a few times during the year when you are likely to find lighter crowds.  Some of the best times are right after summer vacation and school holidays, as those seem to be the times of the year when people are less likely to take their children out of school.  I find the end of August, into the beginning of September is usually a great time - although a bit hot.  Just after the Christmas holidays, at the beginning of January, is another good time.

The early part of the month of May tends to be a lighter crowd time, as spring breaks are all over and there aren't any schools out for the summer yet.  Early December is one of my favorite times to go.  The crowds always seem much lighter, and the holiday decorations and holiday special events to enjoy.

I hope this helps with your vacation planning!
