when would be the best time to visit when the parks are less crowded? travel plans are flexible. how much would a family of 4 save by doing the dining plan? I would like the best bang for my buck for my family

    Welcome Michael,

Thanks for bringing your question to the Moms Panel.  I get asked this question a lot, and my first recommendation for time of year to visit is in the fall.  The crowds have died down from summer and the weather has turned cooler.  The fall brings Epcot Food & Wine Festival, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, and in late November, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  Right now, Disney is offering free dining for select dates in the fall, so if you'd like to take advantage of this promotion, call (407)827-7181 for more details.

Outside of the free dining promotion, reviews are mixed as to whether or not it's a good value.  There is a great calculator to help you with this decision at distripplanner.com.  Since you know how your family likes to eat, you can personalize your choices and decide how to maximize your vacation dollars.

I'm always happy to be of service to our guests.  If there's anything else you need, the Moms Panel is ready to help.

    Be Magical,

    Leanne T.
