What is the best time to visit Disney World in order to avoid the huge tour groups?

    Hi Linda!

The best time of year to visit Walt Disney World is September. The crowds are low, the prices are great and the weather is beautiful.

After Labor Day is a great time to visit as most children go back to school, so there are less crowds. In regards to tour groups, those vary, so I can't guarntee that you won't encounter them any time of the year, but September is your best bet for avoiding crowds.

The beginning of December and January are also great.

    Magically,
    Stacy
