What’s the best time in Sep to go on a carriage ride?

    Howdy, Rosie! Welcome to planDisney!

September is a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World Resort! The crowds tend to be lighter and there's a whisper of fall in the air. You're going to love experiencing the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, and don't forget to pack your spooky best if you plan on purchasing tickets to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! With so much to see and do, you're sure to find magic waiting for you around every corner.

There are so many ways to explore The Most Magical Place on Earth, from the stunning aerial rides on the Disney Skyliner to the Vintage Amphicar Tours to the horse-drawn carriage rides! A carriage ride at Walt Disney World Resort is on the top of my to-do list for my next vacation. I just can't think of a better way to end a day than with a romantic ride around Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground or Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside! When I think of my ideal time to go on a carriage ride, especially in September, I would personally choose a time around 7:00 PM. I love the idea of feeling the beginning of nightfall and seeing a colorful sunset on our ride. I think you'll have a great experience no matter what day of the week you plan on your carriage ride! You might want to experience a carriage ride after a thrilling day in the parks, or you might want to spend a relaxed Saturday in Disney Springs, grab an early dinner, then head back to end the day with a leisurely carriage ride. You could even plan to see Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue before or after your carriage ride!

Rosie, be sure that you've made your Theme Park Reservations using the Disney Park Pass system prior to your arrival! This is an important step to reserve the parks you wish to visit on each day of your trip. And take a little time to download and explore the My Disney Experience app, which is a little like your own magic wand! You'll be able to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and (my favorite!) mobile order food.

If you have any other questions, please visit us again! After all, you've got a friend in me.

    Ride like the wind, Bullseye!
