what's the best time of day to call to begin my 180 days in advance dining reservations? Is it on Eastern time zone? Is it better to book your dining reservations online? Or over the phone? Thank you so much! Love the panel!

Howdy Shekinah! Thanks for stopping by! We really appreciate your kind words.

Assuming you have already signed up for a My Disney Experience account and have your resort reservation link (if you are starting on property), I typically start my 180-day Advanced Dining Reservation (ADR) ritual at 5:45 a.m. (Eastern time) on the 180th day. I start by turning my computer on and signing into My Disney Experience. Once My Disney Experience online is up and running I open the My Disney Experience app on my phone. Overkill? Maybe. I then navigate both the app and my computer to my most highly sought after ADR. Depending on the vacation this might be Cinderella's Royal Table, Be Our Guest or Chef Mickey's. When 6:00 a.m. rolls around I keep refreshing the screen until my date pops up.

I only use the phone reservation system if I was unable to make online of my ADRs online. If that is the case I begin calling 407-939-1947 at 6:55 a.m. I have gotten luck in the past with the phone lines opening at 6:57 a.m. (Here's a tip to make the morning go quicker: a couple days before your 180th day call the dining line during business hours and go through the phone menu to make a new reservation so you know what options you will have to pick.)

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any more questions about your Advanced Dining Reservations or any other aspect of your Walt Disney World vacation please come back and see.

Wishing you a *MAGICAL* vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
