What is the best time to do the cruise to Alaska? 15th Anniversary coming up next year and I want to do something special.

    Magical Greetings Jeremiah!

An Alaskan voyage sounds like the perfect way to celebrate your 15th anniversary next year!  This once-in-a-lifetime cruise on the majestic Disney Wonder will be offered from May 27th-September 2nd.  After arriving in Vancouver, you will set sail to some spectacular ports of call that include Tracy Arm, Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan, Alaska.  If you sail in June around the summer solstice, you can expect lots of daylight to enjoy your time on the ship and ashore.  If you sail further into the summer, the days do grow shorter with less daylight.  The temps will warm up a bit in July and August, but layering is recommended no matter which month you cruise.  After doing some research myself, I've also noticed that several of the Port Adventures are only offered during certain times.  If there are some excursions you have your eye on, you might want to plan a cruise during that time frame.  Cruise Mom, Andi, sailed last summer to Alaska with her family and made a great set of videos to help future cruisers like you!  I definitely recommend watching them as you plan for your special anniversary cruise onboard Disney Cruise Line!

Please come back if you have more questions, Jeremiah!  I'm always happy to help!

Have a magical day and happy planning!
