What is the best time to check in on the ship on embarkation day?

    Hi there Zhaohui!

Embarkation day is full of excitement and anticipation as you start your magical vacation with Disney Cruise Line!  When you arrive at the port, check-in begins at 11:00.  This is probably the most popular time for arrivals at the terminal, but the cast members at the port handle the crowds well.  Not everyone that arrives at 11:00 will embark at the same time so the cast member that checks you in will give you a boarding number.  While you wait for your number to be called, you can enjoy the beautiful, airy space Disney created for their Guests.  There is comfy seating and lots to see!  On the floor you will find a map of the Caribbean Sea and in the middle of the space is a model of the Disney Magic which is great photo spot.  There is also a small deck where you can get your first up close look at your magnificent ship in port.  Your favorite Disney characters might also come out to greet you while you wait!  Make sure to have your cameras ready!

If you would like to check-in and have a shorter wait time, your best bet is to arrive at the port after 1:00.  The initial rush is usually over by then, but there is still time to board and enjoy your first delicious meal on the ship.  All passengers should check-in no later than 3:45 to insure you are not waving the ship goodbye!

    Have a magical day!
