Hi MaryMargaret! Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
The
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade Dining Package is a great way to enjoy lunch AND have an excellent view of the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. Guests who reserve this dining package will receive a voucher for the VIP viewing area at the time of their meal. Since the viewing area is in a separate (but nearby) location from
Tony's Town Square Restaurant, you are welcome to dine at whatever time is convenient for you. If you don't plan to spend much time on Main Street, U.S.A. during your visit to
Magic Kingdom Park, you may want to schedule your meal closer to parade time. If you decide to dine earlier, you could visit other areas of the park before returning to the VIP viewing area for the parade. If you prefer to stay in the area, you could spend time browsing the shops or enjoying the entertainment happening on Main Street, U.S.A., such as
The Dapper Dans Barbershop Quartet, the
ragtime piano player at Casey's Corner, or the
Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party. You might also plan to visit
Tinker Bell or
Mickey Mouse in Town Square Theater between your lunch and Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade.
Plan to be at the VIP viewing area near the Main Street, U.S.A. flagpole about 15 to 30 minutes prior to the scheduled parade time. Be sure to pick up a printed Times Guide that lists the entertainment schedule, or you can use the
My Disney Experience mobile app to check parade and showtimes.
I hope that helps! Please feel free to visit the Moms Panel again with any additional questions you have as you
plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Enjoy!
