What are the best things to take on holiday to Disney World Florida? I have a 5 year old and an 8 year old.

    Hi, Clare!
Thanks for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your visit to Walt Disney World Resort is coming soon!

Traveling to Disney World is such an adventure. Your kids will be amazed by all of the parks and resorts. By the time my kids were five and eight, they were not willing to use strollers during visit to Disney World. Without the stroller, I needed a backpack to carry in some important supplies to enjoy a visit to each park. First, I made sure I had a refillable water bottle, ponchos to explore the parks even if there's rain, extra socks in case our feet get wet and some easy to snack on food like granola. I always knew that if my kids couldn't keep up with all of the walking, we could rent a stroller in the park. Speaking of walking, don't forget to bring really comfortable shoes!

Make sure you take the time to enjoy the pools in your Disney resort hotel. The pools are wonderful and a great way to cool off. Bring your bathing suits! It's worth it.

Let me know if you have any additional questions! I'm happy to help as you get closer to your visit.
