What is the best solution to persons wearing glasses on the rides such as Space Mountain. Do you recommend that a eyeglass band be worn or to remove glasses?

    Welcome Jamie,

Both of my children wear glasses so I understand your dilemma, the last thing I, and even my children, need to happen is them flying off during a ride and my children left with blurred vision for the rest of their trip and us paying for a new pair. I highly recommend removing your glasses for any of the thrill rides at Walt Disney World. Glasses fit people differently, some more snuggly than others, and Guests react differently on rides, sometimes resulting in variety of quick reaction movements. Your best option is bring your eyeglass case and remove them before boarding the ride, then there is no chance of losing them during the ride.

If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and may your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World be filled with many magical and memorable moments.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
