Ahoy Wendy!
Taking a Disney Cruise around the holidays is truly special.
Very MerryTime Cruises have absolutely wonderful decorations and activities just for the holidays on any ship you choose.
To begin deciding on which ship you would like to take your family on, you should first start with how long you would like to be on the ship. If your answer is three or four nights, then you should check out the Disney Dream and Disney Magic holiday itineraries. If you would like to do a longer holiday cruise, then you will want to check out the Disney Wonder or Disney Fantasy.
Next, you will want to decide where you will want to depart from, or where it is easiest for your family to get to. The Wonder will be leaving from Galveston, Texas for the 2015 holiday season, while the Dream and Fantasy will be embarking from Port Canaveral, Florida and the Magic will be departing from Miami, Florida.
Since holiday activities are so similar among the fleet, whichever ship and itinerary works for your family is the cruise to book. My family has sailed on the three of the four Disney Cruise Line ships, and has loved every moment onboard ALL of the ships.
Good luck with your holiday cruise planning. Please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with more of your cruise questions!
Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
