Hi Melissa,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for bringing your question to us. We love helping other Guests get their Walt Disney World Resort vacation started!
I have not flown into Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB), but I did some checking for you to help you navigate your journey to
Disney's Pop Century Resort. Although
Disney does not provide airport transportation, it appears you have several options from other providers including ride-share apps, taxis, rental cars, and a whole host of pre-arranged transportation options. For a full list, please check out the airport website by scrolling down the homepage to Parking & Transportation.
Now, my recommendation on which option is best depends on the size of your party and your budget. I love the convenience of a rental car though it isn't necessary to get around Walt Disney World Resort since the
complimentary Resort Transportation is user-friendly and usually efficient, especially from Pop Century since you can use the
Disney Skyliner! From Orlando International Airport (MCO), I have found that pre-arranged transportation options are a simple choice since you make a reservation and they take care of the driving and your luggage, though sometimes the trip takes longer than I would like. And of course, rideshare app transportation is always an option and the quickest way to make the trip from the airport to the resort and even around the resort itself.
No matter which transportation you choose, there is nothing quite like that first glimpse of the welcome sign and being greeted by Mickey Mouse and the gang. As many times as I've visited Walt Disney World, I still get giddy when I pass through it!
If you have other questions or need some tips for making the most of your vacation, Melissa, please let us know.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
