What is the best and safest way to get from airport or Disney resort with children who still require booster seats? Thank you

    Hi Lauren,

It's great to see you here with us at planDisney!

After a day of airports and planes with little ones, we moms want to make that final leg of the magical journey to Walt Disney World Resort as simple as possible. I get it! Luckily, there are a couple of stress-free ways to travel from Orlando International Airport to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, even with the smallest Mouseketeers!

Mears Connect offers fast, efficient, and comfortable transportation by motorcoach or van from the main and C terminals at the airport. While car seats aren't needed for the bus option, they are available in the vans. Since they can be limited, it is highly recommended that you reserve this service in advance, so they can be sure you arrange the car seats that you need without hassle. They even offer an Express Service that will ensure that your Walt Disney World Resort hotel is the first stop on your journey to begin your vacation or the final stop on the way to the airport for your return trip. Every minute saved in transit is another minute spent enjoying Walt Disney World Resort!

Another option would be to arrange a rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft. Keep in mind that car seats are an add-on option and are required for any riders under the age of five.

Once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, transportation to and from the theme parks, water parks, or Disney Springs is simple! Travel by boat, bus, monorail, or Disney's newest transportation system, the Disney Skyliner, to make traveling easy and fun! Do note that car seats are not offered, nor permitted, on a Disney transportation bus. When our daughters were young, they loved to board a bus and head straight for the back row as fast as possible! They loved a Disney bus ride, and I hope that your littlest Guests do too.

I hope that helps, Lauren. Come on back and visit us with any other questions. We are here for you!

    Adventure is out there,

    Sally
