what's the best route, and how long would it take us (best case to worst case scenarios please) to get from PO-R to Grand Floridian for a Happily Ever After reservation at 7:30pm this coming Tuesday, Sept. 25?

Welcome to the Mom's Panel, Mark!  Congratulations on your upcoming Walt DIsney World Vacation!  It will be here before you know it!  I would recommend taking the Magic Kingdom bus from Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort.  After arriving at Magic Kingdom Park, you will then need to transfer to either the monorail or motor launch (water taxi) bound for Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. When we stayed at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in May, the motor launch leaving Magic Kingdom stopped at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa first so the motor launch may be your quicker route from Magic Kingdom Park. Make sure to read the signs at the loading docks as there are multiple boats leaving Magic Kingdom Park. I would allow approximately 60-90 minutes travel time. I believe your best case scenario would be 45 minutes and worst case 90 minutes. You may also want to consider using a taxi if time is a concern. If traveling by taxi, you could easily make it to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in 20 minutes. I hope this helps!  Please don't hesitate to write me back with any additional questions. Best wishes for a Magical Trip, Mark!
    Happy Travels,
