Best rides, attractions and shows in Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood studios for 3 year old boy who loves cars and trucks/

    Kachow Carol!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I just returned from the brand new Lightning McQueen Racing Academy with my four-year-old twin boys, and we are already prepping to zoom back!

Your son is the perfect age for Walt Disney World! It is MADE for the littles, and I know there will be tons of things that he will love. First stop is Disney’s Hollywood Studios where Cars! reigns supreme. The brand new academy will immerse your son in a virtual race with McQueen, Mater, and friends. Outside, he can interact with Cruz Ramirez and jam with the pit crew at “DJ’s Ready! Set! Party Time!”

Zoom on over to The Boneyard at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park where he can be his own “digger” at in an open-air dinosaur dig. Besides the rope bridges, caves, and slides there’s a fantastic jeep to explore. Speaking of caves, my kids’ favorite way to explore mines is on a racing train at Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. If he meets the height requirement, he will also have a blast on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad!

If your son likes to race, the preschooler-friendly interactive car games at Project Tomorrow: Inventing the Wonders of the Future will be right in his lane! Between the driving simulation and the digital human body, it was only the promise of gelato that got my boys to leave!

Carol, I hope this sets you on the right track!
