Hi Alex!
My favorite Walt Disney World Resort activity is dining! There are so many unique and wonderful restaurants that I have a hard time choosing which ones to visit each trip!
One of my favorite places to dine is at
Disney Springs. While you can't go wrong with any of the dining locations, my current favorite is
Enzo's Hideaway. I love the secluded and romantic location which is literally under a walkway. Their Italian cuisine is to die for and the specialty cocktail menu always has an intriguing choice or two. My husband and I often pop in here for a mid-afternoon snack and beverage. The cheese and meat platters are so delicious! For a quick bite as you shop,
The Daily Poutine offers shareable sized portions of a Canadian treat. Fries, gravy and cheese? YES, please!
Choosing a favorite restaurant in the theme parks is difficult! My family has tried and true favorites:
Yak & Yeti Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom,
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen in the Magic Kingdom,
La Cantina de San Angel in Epcot's World Showcase and
Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano in Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Of course, Walt Disney World is always changing and adding new options for dining. Two new locations on my must-do list this year are
Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera and the
Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue. My goal is to secure a coveted dinner reservation at Topolino's Terrace so that I can catch a glimpse of the nighttime spectacular on the horizon. That will be a truly magical way to top off a Walt Disney World vacation day!
The Disney Parks Blog is a great place to keep an eye on for
new and exciting dining options, too. They often feature new restaurant openings, like the
City Works Eatery & Pour House at Disney Springs. I think the best posts often feature
Foodie Guides. These can even be a great idea for a delicious scavenger hunt: How many delicious treats can you find?
I hope this helps you plan a delicious vacation!
Kathie
