    what are the best restaraunts to visually view the fireworks at epcot and what time should those dinner reservations be made my parents will be with me and they can not stand for long periods of time

    Hi Sheri!

    Absolutely the best restaurant in Epcot to watch Illuminations from is La Hacienda de San Angel. Located in the Mexico pavilion, this restaurant features large, nearly floor to ceiling windows in one portion of the dining area. The tables located here have the PERFECT view of Illuminations (in my opinion!!). If you are seated in another portion of the restaurant, you'll be welcome to move to get a better view when its time for Illuminations. My husband and I were able to stand towards the back of the main dining area one night and absolutely loved it!

    I would recommend making a reservation for about 8pm and then, when you check-in at the podium, ask if you can have a table in the main dining area. Be sure to let them know you don't mind waiting a few extra minutes for one (if that's true of course!) so that your parents can enjoy the show without standing.
