What is the best resort to stay in with a 5 year old that will need naps. Also, with a balcony so when she sleeps my husband and I have a retreat area.

    HI Angeline!

If you'd like a resort room with a balcony, you'll want to take a look at the Deluxe Resorts. Nearly all of the rooms at these hotels have balconies or patios.

Of the Deluxe resorts, our family favorite is the Wilderness Lodge. In addition the over-the-top decor at this resort, we also enjoy the short boat ride to the Magic Kingdom. This makes it very easy to travel to and from the park for an afternoon rest or swim.

The Wilderness Lodge also has a very fun pool area with a slide and plenty of activities to keep kids entertained for hours! This resort also has a very relaxing atmosphere that is great for some downtime.

Another great resort choice is the Animal Kingdom Lodge. In addition to a fun pool area and tons of activities, you'll be able view exotic animals such as giraffe, zebra and wildebeest from different areas of the resort - including your own balcony if you've reserved a savanna view room!

I hope this helps! Have a great trip!
