Where would be the best resort to stay at with two girls ages 7 and 3 in March 2014?

    Hi, Kathryn!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you're planning a Spring 2014 visit to Walt Disney World Resort! There are a number of really wonderful resort hotels on Disney property; based on my own resort experiences with my now 7-year-old daughter and with consideration of both of your girls' ages, I would recommend the following resorts for your family:

    1) Value Category: Disney's Art of Animation Resort - Little Mermaid Standard room decor features fun and whimsical touches, Big Blue Pool is the largest on Disney property, Little Mermaid pool also has great theming (but no water slides at Value Resorts), outstanding food court

    2) Moderate Category: Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside - beautiful landscaping and architecture, Royal Guest Rooms feature ornate Disney Princess decor (including LED "fireworks" built into the headboards!), table-service restaurant and excellent food court, lots of recreational opportunities (bike and boat rentals), nightly campfire, complimentary water taxi transportation to the Downtown Disney area

    3) Deluxe Category: Disney's Beach Club Resort - great location (walking distance to Epcot, water taxi to Disney's Hollywood Studios), amazing 3-acre Stormalong Bay water recreation area, larger rooms, character dining at Cape May Cafe, close proximity to table-service restaurants, nightly campfire

You honestly can't go wrong with any of these three resorts. I would suggest letting your budget and your family's interests be your guide when choosing a resort. Please don't hesitate to write me back if you'd like more information or advice as you continue to plan your Walt Disney World Resort stay!
