What is the best resort to stay at for a family of 5? And the best resort for multiple families?

Hello, Tiffanie! Choosing the right Disney Resort hotel is my favorite part of the planning process, so I am happy to help you to narrow down your options. I've listed a few of my top picks for a family of five and families that are traveling together, but I suggest comparing your favorite Disney Resort hotels side-by-side to make your final decision.

    Value Resorts

    • Disney's Art of Animation Resort - The family suites include two bathrooms and a little extra space for larger families, making it a great place to relax at the end of a fun-filled Disney day.
    • Disney's All-Star Music Resort - Choose a family suite for the most space. Keep in mind that unlike Disney's Art of Animation Resort, buses are shared between all of the All-Star Resorts, which means longer commutes. However, this is the most budget-friendly option.

    Moderate Resorts

    • The Cabins At Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort - There are lots of on-site activities, like archery, pony rides, fishing, etc. The Cabins even have full kitchens, so you can save a little money by whipping up some favorite family recipes right from your own kitchen.

    Deluxe Resorts

    • Disney's Contemporary Resort - This hotel is located on the resort monorail loop, and is also a quick walk from Magic Kingdom Park. If you need to retreat to your room for a mid-day nap with your children, the convenience of Disney's Contemporary Resort really makes a big difference. I personally love the garden view rooms because they feel a bit more secluded.

I am sure that you and your family will have a wonderful time wherever you choose to stay. If you have any additional questions before your visit, please do not hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel, Tiffanie. Happy planning!
