What is the best way to get from resort to resort at Disney World prior to normal bus hours?

    Welcome!

Thanks for stoppin' by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Terry!

With so much to see and do at each and every Walt Disney World Resort hotel, we often find ourselves traveling from our "Home" to explore the restaurants and experiences unique to another Resort hotel. When you find yourself ready to enjoy the options elsewhere, the best way to reach your destination is to transfer at the nearest theme park. For example, if my family is enjoying a magical vacation at Disney's Contemporary Resort and we want to feast on the unlimited snow crab legs at Cape May Cafe at Disney's Beach Club Resort, we would likely make the 10-minute stroll to Magic Kingdom Park where we would hop aboard a convenient and complimentary bus to Disney's Beach Club Resort. To return at the end of our evening, we would sail away on a FriendShip boat to Disney's Hollywood Studios, where we would catch the bus back to Disney's Contemporary Resort.

If your agenda includes traveling between Resort hotels for an early Advance Dining Reservation, check with a Concierge Cast Member the night before. Often, they can ensure that early morning transportation will be available for a transfer at a theme park. Of course, you might decide that this is one instance when using a taxi service is most convenient.

Great news! Disney Parks Blog recently announced that turn-by-turn directions, both within theme parks and using Walt Disney World Resort Transporation, are now available on the My Disney Experience Mobile App. It's fantastic!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
