What is the best resort for multiple families to stay

Hi Stephany! I’m so happy to welcome you to planDisney! This is such a great question because a Disney vacation is especially fun when multiple families are traveling together. Let’s take a look at some options that may be a great fit for your large group!

The “best” resort really depends on a number of factors, including budget, party size in each room, and ages of everyone in your group. What I love about a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is that there are so many options that allow you to customize an experience that is just right for you. With over 25 themed resort hotels, there’s something for everyone and every budget!

If you’re looking for multiple families to stay together, I recommend checking out the Deluxe Villas. These can accommodate up to nine adults in a 2-bedroom villa or up to twelve in a Grand Villa. They include multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, a living room, full kitchen, dining area, and washer/dryer. The Deluxe Villas truly give you all of the comforts of home, along with tons of space. This would be a great way for multiple families to stay together and create special memories!

If a more budget-friendly option is in order, I would recommend either the family suites at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort or Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, which sleep up to six adults plus a child under age three in a portable crib. The moderate resorts would also be a great choice, where each family could have their own room while still staying together at the same resort to enjoy the pools and dining as a group, plus coordinate trips to the parks together.

Stephany, I hope this gives you some great options for your group. I would love to help you narrow this down even more, so if you’d like to come back and tell me more about what your group's needs are, we can dive in a little deeper on the details and find the perfect fit!

    Your pal,
    Casey
