What is the "best" resort for a first visit with a 6 year old girl and 2 year old girl?

    Hi, Rachel!

How excited you must be to take your princesses to the Walt Disney World Resort for their first visit! There are so many fabulous resort options that I know it can be difficult to narrow down the best choice for your family. I'm not sure which category you're considering for your stay, so I'm going to suggest a few we've enjoyed.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is an excellent choice in the Value category since it offers the whimsical themed Little Mermaid Rooms. If your girls love Ariel than this is a natural choice! From the carpet to the tiled bathroom wall, every detail makes you feel like you're "Under the Sea" with your favorite redheaded mermaid friend! There is even a Flippin' Fins Pool that I know your mermaids will flip over! This resort also offers an amazing food court, Landscape of Flavors and a fun playground area, Squirt's Righteous Reef!

In the Moderate category, I can't suggest Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside enough! The beautifully themed Royal Guest Rooms are the perfect place for your royal ladies to rest their heads each evening! Disney outdid themselves with the theming in these rooms, and every time I stay in one I notice new, enchanting details. Not only are the rooms quite unique, you'll have a wonderful pool area to enjoy, a playground area and the option to travel by boat to Disney Springs!

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, in the Deluxe category, makes every girl, young and old, feel like a true Disney Princess! You'll love the regal accommodations and just being a monorail ride away from Magic Kingdom! The pool areas with their zero-entry are perfect for little ones, and you'll love the aquatic play area! At night, you can watch the fireworks from the resort and catch the Electrical Water Pageant!

I'm about out of space, Rachel! Please write back if I can answer any more questions!
