Hi Colleen! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
The Walt Disney World Resort boasts 25 on-site Resort hotels with lots of different fun and creative themes. Many of them offer accommodations for parties of five and can range from luxurious to budget friendly.
Deluxe villas offer luxury, a lot of extra space and many times are conveniently located within walking distance to Disney theme parks. The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort are incredible, and they are on the monorail loop that takes you to the Magic Kingdom Park! Some of these villas offer one and two-bedrooms with full kitchens and two bathrooms.
Family suites at
Value Resorts like Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, are big enough to sleep six and offer a great kitchenette with everything you need to prepare a quick breakfast before heading out to enjoy a day at any of the parks. Bus transportation to and from the parks is also available at both of these resorts.
My family’s favorite place to stay is at
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. It boasts a full kitchen, one bedroom complete with a queen-sized bed and twin bunk beds, along with a double-size sleeper sofa in the family room area. You can also rent a golf cart to get around the resort! Not to mention, it’s just a short boat ride from the Magic Kingdom Park.
Colleen, I hope I’ve given you some ideas for accommodating your family. If you need any more help planning your magical visit, please stop by again!
