What is the best and quickest way to get from POFQ to Wolfgang Puck Cafe'? I know the water taxi from POFQ takes us to the opposite side of Downtown Disney. Also, does the water taxi stop at POR before going to Downtown Disney?

    Hi Melissa,

One of the reasons I love staying at the Port Orleans Resort is because of the water taxi to Downtown Disney, it is a lovely relaxing ride and a nice change from taking the buses.

You're right that it drops you off at the opposite side of Downtown Disney to where Wolfgang Puck Cafe is. Don't worry though because 3 boats actually operate from the boat dock you're dropped at, one goes to Port Orleans, one to Saratoga & Old Key West and the last one goes to the West Side where Wolfgang Puck is located. As you disembark your boat simply join the queue for the West Side boat, the journey only takes about 5 minutes and saves you having to do quite a long walk!

There are 2 queues for the boat dock at Port Orleans French Quarter, one side is for passengers wanting to go to Riverside and the other for Downtown Disney. The boats do a continuous loop from Downtown to French Quarter, up to Riverside, back to French Quarter before heading back to Downtown. This means that if you want to visit Downtown you don't need to go to Riverside first so it saves you time!

Hope that helps and you have a fantastic trip,

    Jo
