What is the best way to plan our first Disney Vacation? We have 2 year old twin boys and are looking to come at the end of January to celebrate their birthday. Neither my husband or I have any experience with this and it seems a little overwhelming.

    Hi, Erin!
Thanks for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope I can help you start planning your first vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

My family's first big multi-day trip to Disney World was when my daughter was turning three, and her brother was almost seven. I started planning by picking the resort we wanted to visit. We decided we would spend one day in each park and not use the Park Hopper Ticket option. Once we decided on those options, we picked which park we wanted to visit. In previous single-day visits, we had learned about Extra Magic Hours. Since our kids woke up early, we chose the park that scheduled an early Extra Magic Hour so we could get in early and enjoy attractions without crowds. We scheduled one sit down meal in each park so we'd have at least one scheduled break. (My daughter napped in the stroller when she needed. She's a classic second child.)

I made sure to keep an eye on any Special Offers that popped up after I made the reservation just in case we could take advantage of any extra perks or discounts. Also, check out these wonderful Disney tips about visiting with pre-schoolers.

I hope some of these ideas help you get started with your big plans for the twins next year! Come back and ask me more questions anytime!
