What is the best way to plan a disney parks family vacation? Which reservations website should I use? Can I speak to a reservations specialis on the phone to ask about different visit options?

Hi Dorota! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!

There aren't many things I like better than planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort - except maybe actually being on a trip to Walt Disney World Resort! Both the planning and the actual vacation give me a little escape from the hustle and bustle of "real life" and just let me enjoy the magic and wonder of the Resort.  While planning a vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth can be a little overwhelming, it can also be a fun and very exciting process that we here at planDisney are ready to help you with every step of the way.

You'll always want to use the official Walt Disney World Resort website when planning your vacation so that you know you're getting the latest and greatest information, pricing, and availability of Theme Park Tickets at Disney Resorts Collection hotel rooms.

For new Guests just planning their very first magical stay, I think it's a great idea to visit us at planDisney.com.  We're Guests just like you and our site is packed with incredible tips, articles, and videos to help you learn more about the 40 square miles of magic that you're headed to! In the Panel Extras section, you'll find Disney Resort Hotels Pocket Guides that give you bite-sized bits of information about each Disney Resort.  You'll also find seasonal tips for planning during the holidays, which it looks like you'll be interested in!

When you're ready to book head to the Walt Disney World Resort website where you can click "Places to Stay" to make your Resort reservations or reserve a vacation package that includes Theme Park Tickets.  You'll want to think about how many days you plan to visit the four immersive Theme Parks and two Water Parks as you decide which Theme Park Ticket option is right for you and your family.

If you would like to speak with a Cast Member who can help you over the phone, feel free to call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line at (407) 939-1936.  Cast Members here will be happy to work with you to create the most magical and memorable vacation possible.

    Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Ashley, Massachusetts

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
