Hello, Victoria!
Congratulations on planning your family's first Walt Disney World vacation! If your little Mouseketeer is anything like my daughter, you will spend a LOT of time exploring Magic Kingdom Park. This exciting theme park has the largest variety of rides for young children of the 4 Walt Disney World Theme Parks, and the parades and fireworks are always magical experiences for the whole family. Make sure to spend some time really soaking in all of the details of each of the 6 whimsical "lands" as you make your way around the park. Adventure truly is around every corner!
Epcot is my absolute favorite park to visit, and is especially fun to explore with children. My daughter loves to visit the Kidcot Fun Stop locations around the World Showcase. Each Kidcot Fun Stop is managed by Disney Cast Members from the country represented, and they share great information with children, including how to greet people in their native country. Several of our favorite Disney Princess friends offer meet 'n' greet opportunities around World Showcase as well, so make sure to bring an autograph book with you!
My daughter also enjoys visiting with the animals at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Kilimanjaro Safaris provides an excellent opportunity for families to experience a wild safari ride through animal habitats, and the animal exploration trails bring you up close to the animals. This theme park also offers great live performances, like Finding Nemo - The Musical and Festival of the Lion King, as well as several adventurous rides.
