    Where are the best places to have Thanksgiving dinner with three children, ages, 9, 7 and 4? Thanks for your help.

    Hi Margie,

    We love spending Thanksgiving at Disney World and visit there almost every year for that holiday. It will be crowded so be prepared to move around the crowds and take your time, but it still can be a fantastic trip with a little planning and patience.

    Our absolute favorite place for Thanksgiving dinner is Liberty Tree Tavern. This colonial New England style restaraunt, located in Magic Kingdom, feels just like what the holiday may have been like a hundred years ago. The traditional Thanksgiving spread of turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, mac-n-cheese and even homemade cobbler is mouth-watering. The restaraunt is very family friendly and the food is perfect for guests of all ages. We also love being inside Magic Kingdom for the holiday. It does get a little crazy there, but there is something about walking down Main Street that really brings out the holiday cheer.

    Now if you are looking to avoid the parks that day, most Disney restaraunt will serve a traditional Thanksgiving meal and will seem a little less crazy than the park restaraunts. Our two favorite locations outside of the parks are Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge and Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club. Cape May is buffet style and Whispering Canyon offers a family style meal that is very popular. Both locations offer a more relaxed atmosphere and will be great to enjoy a fun meal in a wonderful family environment.

    As you can imagine, Thanksgiving reservations go quickly, so be sure to call 407-939-3463 ninety days prior to your arrival. Have a great time!
