Hello there, Susan! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for stopping back by and asking another wonderful Walt Disney World Resort question!
Walt Disney World Resort is known worldwide for its amazing fireworks displays! These magical shows combine music, animation, and, of course, fireworks to create an unforgettable experience. That’s one of the main reasons I think that viewing one of the amazing
nighttime spectaculars is the best way to end your day, regardless of whether or not you are visiting the parks!
Besides
Rivers of Light at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, all of the nighttime spectaculars are actually viewable from outside of their respective theme parks. For
Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom, I would recommend viewing from one of the beaches at either Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Both of these locations “pipe in” the music to heighten your viewing experience and all you to be totally immersed in one of my most favorite nighttime spectaculars!
IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot can be viewed from
Disney’s Boardwalk area. You may not be able to hear the accompanying music but you can grab a quick snack from one of the many carnival-themed dining locations nearby to enjoy during the show! The final show,
Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, may also be viewed from Disney’s Boardwalk area. However, you may also use the walking path from Disney’s Boardwalk and stroll over to the main entrance area at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Here, you can get a bit closer to this cosmos fireworks display and may even be able to catch a bit of the accompanying music as you watch.
Have fun continuing to plan for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort!
