Ahoy Kimberly!
I am happy that you sailed by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with some great questions as you plan for your high seas adventure. It sounds like you are getting your
packing lists ready! I cannot wait for you to check your bags and get onboard to
experience all of the magic!
The
Disney Magic is my favorite ship. I love the "small world" feel of it as you sail. The
staterooms onboard all of the Disney Cruise Line ships are very well thought out. I have found there is plenty of space for everything you need!
The best place to store your luggage is underneath your bed. My family can fit four large suitcases under there with room to spare. To save space and make life easier as the cruise goes on, I bring a pop-up hamper to store dirty clothing. It is easy to fit in your suitcase when you travel, and you can set it up in one of the closets to throw in your laundry during your sailing!
My family also brings a collapsible hanging shoe rack to hang in the closet to store shoes and other small items to save the drawer space for our clothing. If you have a lot of toiletries and cosmetics, a hanging bag that rolls up is easy to travel with and you can hang this in the closet as well to save bathroom space. Many staterooms also have a table in the main living space that opens for additional storage!
I hope I've steered you in the right direction, Kimberly! Pack your bags and travel back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before you sail away!
"Sea" ya real soon! Angie
