Where is the best place to stay we are going on first Disney Cruise Oct. 2014, already booked it, we will becoming in the day before we depart, looking to stay close to port, what are your suggestions and what are your suggestions since we will be flying

    Ahoy Tabby!
It is wonderful to hear from you again!  The easiest and most convenient plan for your day before arrival is to stay at one of the hotels Disney Cruise Line has partnered with in Miami.  Both the JW Marriott Hotel Miami and Eden Roc Renaissance are located close by the port for a quick commute to the Port of Miami.  Pre-cruise stays can be added to your reservation by calling Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532.  When you book your room, you will also want to add ground transportation for your family if you are flying into the Miami airport.  For $40 per person (always subject to change), Disney Cruise Line will transport your family to your hotel, to the port and back to the Miami airport for your return flight home.  By letting Disney Cruise Line take care of everything, you land to sea and sea to land transition will be smooth sailing for your crew!
I hope my suggestion is helpful, Tabby!  Please continue to visit the Moms Panel with all your cruise questions!
    Have a magical day!
