Where is the best place to see the fireworks in MK? I know there is a rush to get up front, but I've also heard that seeing from a little ways back is a great way to take it all in!

    Hi Megan,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so glad you stopped by with your question.

I have to confess to you, I'm a sucker for a good fireworks show.  There's nothing I love more than to stand and watch choreographed pyrotechnics while listening to music.

While the "up front" view of any of the Magic Kingdom Park fireworks displays is fantastic (I'd define that as anywhere between the Partners statue of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse and as close to the castle as you are allowed for the fireworks), I honestly love either of the Plaza Garden Viewing areas or even around Casey's Corner and Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street, U.S.A.  The key with the new fireworks displays is to get as close to the center of the action as possible to see the incredible castle projection scenes.

Megan, if you're willing to go the extra mile for your family, have you considered a Fireworks Dessert Party?  Delicious desserts, bubbly beverages and the perfect spot in the Plaza Garden Viewing area for the show make for an unforgettable night.  What I love about these parties is that since tickets are limited, the viewing area isn't crowded and you can comfortably see the show from the lawn.

    Best Wishes,
