    Where is the best place to have character dining with the Mickey and Minnie cast (Pluto, Goofy, etc..). where can I get pricing information? We have 15 and 11 year old, and they are not interested in the princess dining. Traveling first week in Sep. 2013

    Hi there, Lo!

    There are several options for dining with members of "The Fab Five" (Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, Goofy and/or Pluto) at Walt Disney World Resort! My top picks are Chef Mickey's (at Disney's Contemporary Resort), Donald's Dining Safari at Tusker House (at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park), Mickey's Backyard BBQ (at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground) and Cape May Cafe (at Disney's Beach Club Resort). 

    Pricing information and more details are available on the WDW website -- follow this link to the Dining Reservations page where you'll find a list of Character Dining locations. Since you'll be visiting just a few weeks from now, it's not likely you'll find any availability at Chef Mickey's as this restaurant fills up very quickly for both breakfast and dinner. You should have a better chance of snagging a reservation at one of the other three locations listed above. For example, I just checked and was able to find a reservation at Tusker House on Thursday, 9/05 at 5:30 PM for a party of 4. I also found several times available for breakfast at Cape May Cafe on the same date. 

    With your trip being just around the corner, I recommend booking ASAP online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE. Please be aware that Character appearances are subject to change.
