Hey there, Angela! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
Having an uneven number in your group for attractions that typically seat two Guests side-by-side can feel a bit tricky. But no worries, I’ve got you covered!
Walt Disney World is all about making magical memories together, and Cast Members are pros at accommodating groups of all sizes. On rides where seating is usually in pairs, like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, your group will simply be split across a couple of ride vehicles or rows. And guess what? Sometimes being that "odd one out" means getting a row to yourself, which can be a fun twist on the experience! Also, be mindful that someone from the single-rider line at select attractions, like
Expedition Everest-Legend of the Forbidden Mountain may be seated next to the member of your group who isn't paired with someone in your group.
However, Angela, there are so many attractions like
Space Mountain,
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, and
Pirates of the Caribbean, where 3 or more guests per row allow you to enjoy the ride together.
When I travel to Disney with just my kids, I usually have them ride together so they feel more comfortable, and I ride with another Guest. When I’m with a group of adults and we have an odd number, we simply take turns pairing up and one of us enjoys the ride with a new friend each time. It’s all part of the fun and magic of the experience!
No matter the ride or the seating arrangement, the magic is always best when shared. Let me know if you'd like a list of attractions that offer
single-rider lines or any tips to help you all stay together during the day!
Toodles,
Korliss
