What is the best way to get from a DS partner hotel to Epcot intl gateway? Shuttle/Lyft/Uber to HS and take the boat over to the gateway? Or could we get dropped by Lyft/Uber at Beach Club, Boardwalk or Dolphin/ Swan and walk to gateway? Is that allowed?

    Hi Melissa!

Welcome to planDisney! I’ve got a few options for you, and a lot of that depends on what your version of “best” means!

So for the most scenic route, I would take either a taxi or rideshare to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and hop the Disney Skyliner! My family loves the Skyliner and it’s like another attraction for us. It’s a very pleasant ride through the sky, with gorgeous views and a light breeze. Another lovely option is to take the Friendship Boat from Disney's Hollywood Studios. This is also an enjoyable journey and is a good way to rest tired feet! Depending on how long you need to wait for a boat, the transportation time is a bit faster than the Skyliner, and you don’t need to get off and back on as you do with the Skyliner.

If you'd like the best way to burn off the calories before enjoying all the yummy treats at Epcot, you can take the walking path from Disney's Hollywood Studios. If you get too hungry, grab a snack along Disney's BoardWalk at the BoardWalk Bakery!

If you are looking for the fastest or most efficient, I would have that taxi or rideshare drop you off at either Disney’s Beach Club Resort or Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and then walk to the International Gateway. Typically drop-offs from taxis or ride-shares are not a problem but know you would not be allowed to drive and park your own vehicle at those resorts.

I hope this helps with your planning, Melissa! Wishing you a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
