    What are the best park options to take my two year old daughter? Thanks :)

    Rachel,

    This should be the shortest answer in Moms Panel history, but excuse me as I take the opportunity to give you a few thoughts. Based on traveling with a 2-year old daughter, here are three important points;

    The Must Do! Park for your 2-year old: Because it is the oldest park, with the most attractions, you could take a 2-year old to the Magic Kingdom multiple times if you were on a 2-day trip, and skip all the other parks. At the least it has to be one of your two parks.

    The easy one to skip: While Epcot is probably my personal favorite, it is the easiest one to cut from the list for a 2-year old, as they really don't get the whole World Showcase thing.

    The second park debate: So you really want 2 parks? We say that the Magic Kingdom has to be one, and Epcot is probably the easiest to scratch off the list. So that leaves the Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios as your two choices for a 2nd park.

    But which one?

    My family prefers the Animal Kingdom in this debate, but knowing it closes early means we have to plan evening activities at the BoardWalk, Downtown Disney, or a resort restaurant. Others like the more day-long options of the Hollywood Studios, as well as the heavy Pixar influences.

    Without knowing her exact interests, I would say that UNLESS she is an animal fanatic, demanding you take her to the local zoo all the time, Hollywood Studios is probably your better pick.

    BOTTOM LINE: For 2 parks for a 2-year old, go with the Magic Kingdom for sure, and then either Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios, with the advantage going to the Studios.

    Have a magical vacation!
