Where is best to park on Marathon day, 1/8, for Magic Kingdom? I am not a runner. First day of our first trip to Disney! Yay!

    Hi Diana!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so excited for you to experience all the magic Walt Disney World has to offer!

For the Walt Disney World Marathon the main entrance of Epcot will be closed to all traffic until 7 AM, but luckily the Magic Kingdom will not be affected! You will park at the Transportation and Ticket Center and take a Monorail or Ferryboat to the Magic Kingdom.

While you're there I must recommend you try a Dole Whip at Aloha Isle inside of Adventureland! It is my favorite park treat and a must try for all first time visitors. I hope you have a wonderful vacation full of pixie dust and fond memories!
