Hi Rowena!
How exciting that you are visiting
Walt Disney World for the holidays! There is no better time of year to see the parks and resorts in all of their glory. Mickey Mouse wreaths adorn the light poles and garland drapes across the store fronts.
Christmas at
Disney's Magic Kingdom is unparalleled.
Cinderella Castle is covered in twinkling lights, which makes for a gorgeous sight. I see that you are arriving on December 23, which is a day after the last
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. However, you will still get to enjoy the festive ambiance, yummy Christmas treats, and holiday merchandise.
Another option is to visit
EPCOT on Christmas Day. This park is large and spread out, which helps dissipate the crowds a bit. There are many wonderful holiday activities during
EPCOT's International Festival of the Holidays. You can enjoy delicious treats from around the World Showcase that represent holidays around the world. You can also take a
cookie stroll, which is where you purchase a cookie from five different outdoor kitchens, getting a stamp for each cookie along the way, and then you get a free one!
With the new
Guardians of the Galaxy attraction, giant Christmas tree, and the fun
holiday merchandise, EPCOT is a great choice!
Happy Holidays from
planDisney!
Magically,
Stacy
