What is the best mode of travel from Epcot to the Contemporary Resort for Chef Mickey's Dinner? Thanks!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, D Leah! We are delighted to receive your question today!

How exciting you will be eating dinner at Chef Mickey's in Disney's Contemporary Resort! One of our favorite resorts where we have captured dozens and dozens of family pictures!

The answer to your question will depend where in Epcot you will be. If you are closer to the entrance where the monorail is, it'd be best to take the monorail to the Ticket and Transportation Center (also known as TTC) and then transfer over to the Resort Monorail line. You will easily figure out you've arrived at Chef Mickey's once the monorail has entered Disney's Contemporary Resort. You will see Chef Mickey's right there, one level down. This is the fastest way to get there using Disney's complimentary transportation.

If you would like to have the experience of traveling by boat and you happen to be in World Showcase, near the UK and France pavilion, you could take the Friendship Boat over to Disney's Hollywood Studios and, once there, take a bus to Disney's Contemporary Resort.

Remember that it is advisable to allow around 45 minutes to an hour to get to a dining reservation so that you are not rushed or stressed out. If you want to avoid being rushed and prefer to travel in comfort, just can just hop on a super cute Minnie Van and get to your dinner reservation in style! Minnie Van Service vehicles are operated by Disney and are accessed through the Lyft app.

D Leah, I know you will have the best meal experience at Chef Mickey's. Be sure to take lots of pictures and remember this meal for years to come!

    Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
