Welcome to planDisney, Charlene!
Can you believe you're less than two months away from your Walt Disney World Resort vacation? There's nothing quite like the holiday season in The Most Magical Place on Earth. From
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom Park to EPCOT's International Festival of the Holidays,
Disney Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom's Merry Menagerie, there's no shortage of Christmas cheer. It's truly one of my favorite seasons to visit. Be sure to check out
this feature on the Disney Parks Blog for information about additional sights, sounds, and tastes of the season. While Santa typically makes his way to Walt Disney World via sleigh, you'll need to secure another method of transportation from the airport, so let's look into your
options!
Mears Connect is a popular shuttle service that can be booked in advance as either one-way or round-trip transportation between MCO and Walt Disney World Resort. This offering comes at an
additional fee and departs at regular intervals throughout the day. It's important to keep in mind that this is not a private transport option, and your shuttle will likely make multiple stops before arriving at your hotel.
If you're hoping for a more direct option, my husband and I regularly utilise a rideshare service such as Lyft so that we can make our way into the magic as quickly as possible. Additionally, if you'll be staying in a Disney Deluxe Resort hotel, Disney Deluxe Villa Resort hotel, or a Club Level room, you'll have the option of booking Minnie Van airport service for a truly magical (and convenient) ride.
I hope the information I shared was helpful, Charlene, and that you have a smooth journey into the magic. If you'd like any additional advice for your upcoming visit, feel free to swing back by
planDisney. We're always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
