    What is the best way to get from Magic Kingdom to Downtown Disney (west side) and back?

    Greetings Marcia!

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  From Magic Kingdom Park, I recommend walking to Disney's Contemporary Resort in order to catch the bus bound for Downtown Disney. The walk itself should take approximately 10 minutes. From the Downtown Disney area, you'll be able to catch a bus back to Disney's Contemporary Resort. Although the monorail does travel between Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Contemporary Resort, I have always found walking to be quicker when trying to reach the bus depot at the Contemporary.
