best loop/site for a cabin at fort wilderness. is it better to be closer to boat landing or main outpost? how do you ask for a specific loop?

    Hey howdy hey!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, David.  Glad to see you back in the saddle and continuing to plan your wilderness adventure!  I hope you enjoy this peaceful resort as much as my son and I did this summer.

The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are all located in the same general area, close to the main entrance of the resort.  The campsites closest to the boat launch are all RV sites.  Cabins within walking distance, and closest to the Outpost and transportation depot, are located in loops 2800 and 2700.  If being close to one of these transportation hubs is most important to you, I would recommend requesting a cabin in one of these two loops.

If you are planning to rent a golf cart for transportation during your stay, then you should have no problem getting around and will enjoy any cabin on the property.  We stayed in the 2600 loop during our visit and really liked this location as it was near a bus stop for the internal bus service and also near the Wilderness Swimmin' Pool.

To request a cabin in a specific loop, you can make a note of this when you complete your online resort check in under "Room Location Requests" or contact Walt Disney World Resort to add this request to your reservation.

Before you ride off into the sunset, stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any other questions!

    See ya real soon!  Angie
