    Where is the best location to stay at New Orleans Riverside?? Are any of the new character rooms available?? We will be there feb 11-14. Y Thanks

    The great thing about Port Orleans Riverside is that it has several different areas that are great for different reasons. Some are more secluded, others are great for being close to everything.

    Personally, I always prefer a location that puts me as close as possible to the main lobby area, amenities, the pool, and transportation. As such, here is where I would go;

    • Buildings 14, 15, and 18 in the Alligator Bayou side
    • Buildings 85 and 90 in Magnolia Bend (also known as Magnolia Terrace and Oak Manor)

    By the way, the Royal Guest Rooms will start being available in the Spring of 2012. Probably not going to be available when you are there in mid-February, but ask when you are checking in!

    Have a magical vacation!
