You are the BEST, Jodie:) How long is the bus ride to BB from Bay Lake Tower with stops at other resorts vs direct? What time should we be at the bus stop if we want to be there at park opening? Does the bus go to AK first? Thank you!

You are so sweet, Jessica!  I love getting to assist guests like you and appreciate your positive feedback! I would estimate the travel time from Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort to Disney's Blizzard Beach to be approximately 30 minutes if you stop at other Disney Resorts to pick up guests. A direct bus ride from Bay Lake Tower should take no longer than 15 minutes. Because I always like to give myself a little cushion when it comes to traveling on Disney property, I would recommend getting to the bus stop at least 45 minutes prior to park opening. I will say that the entire process of going through the security bag check area and ticket turnstiles is much quicker at the water parks then you traditionally experience at the theme parks.  After multiple phone calls to Disney directly, I have not been able to find out if the Disney buses stop at Disney's Animal Kingdom park or Blizzard Beach first. Based on my past experience, we stopped at Blizzard Beach first, but that was some time ago and the route could have changed since then. I would recommend checking with your Resort Concierge at check-in to see if they can give you the most current bus route to Disney's Blizzard Beach since the routes are subject to change. I also wanted to let you know that you can take a taxi from Disney's Contemporary Resort to Blizzard Beach if you are concerned about the travel time involved.  In April, I traveled to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge from Disney's Hollywood Studios for the first time ever and the cab fare was approximately $12 for the one way cab ride. I did not think that was too terribly expensive to be back at our Resort within 10 minutes top. I think you are going to just love Blizzard Beach! I hope to hEAR from you again real soon, Jessica!
    :-)  Jodie
