    What are the best ideas to keep young fiesty toddlers busy while we're waiting in line? We will be there 5/21-5/23 with a 4 yr old & 22 month old - very excited but want to be prepared as possible to avoid meltdowns. Nap breaks built in from 2-5pm.

    Hi, Kathryn!  I got pretty good at this through the years with my three girls, so I hope some of the things that worked for me will help you!

    I always saved snacks for when we were waiting in line.  If you have kid friendly favorites that might be extra special treats at home, now's the time to have them in your backpack.  I'd use things like yogurt covered raisins, gummy bears, even miniature muffins or cookies.  These were snacks the kids didn't get all the time at home, and they were excited to get them in line.

    If you hit the dollar store, now's a good time to pick up a few small toys you can keep in your bag.  Again, have them be something the kids won't see every day at home, so they'll be new and exciting when you are in line.  

    When my kids were really small, I'd blow bubbles.  They loved popping the bubbles in the lines.

    Just for your information, some lines have built in things to do.  You'll find interactive queues at Winnie the Pooh and Dumbo, so you won't have to worry about finding things to do, as they will already be there waiting for you!
