Hi Meredith,
There are so many great resort options for your next visit. I am sure you would get a variety of opinions, but here are a few of our favorites: In the moderate level a great option is Caribbean Beach Resort. The resort rooms were recently remodeled after Nemo or Pirates of the Caribbean. It is a fun and whimsical approach to your room. The pool was also recently remodeled and now has a great zero entry splash zone for small children featuring a pirate ship. Hours of fun! There is also quiet pools, a beach area with hammocks for relaxing and a great arcade.
Another location is the Fort Wilderness cabins. The cabins sleep up to six and have bunk beds in the bedroom (what kid doesn't love bunk beds). The resort offers a long list of amenities including horseback, pony and carriage rides, archery, fishing, a great playground and beach area, a nightly campfire and movie with visits from Chip and Dale and a newly remodeled pool area. There is so much to do at this resort the kids may never want to leave.
If you are looking at the deluxe level, our favorite choice is the Beach Club. This resort area is connected to a number of other Disney resorts including the Boardwalk, where you can find a number of shops, restaurants and free nightly family entertainment. The Beach Club offers access, by foot, to Epcot and Hollywood Studios and has a great relaxing family feel to it. You will find a beach, arcade, restaraunt and old fashion soda shop at this resort, as well as the best resort pool on Disney property, Stormalong Bay. Stormalong Bay is a giant white sand bottom pool with whirlpool. lazy river, water slides, kiddie pool, sand area and more. It is a guaranteed hit for kids of all ages.
You can find more information regarding these, and other, Disney resorts
here. Whichever resort you choose, you can't go wrong as they all have that touch of Disney magic. Happy planning!
